Dear Drunk People, Stop Petting Wild Possoms

Scientists Baffled As To Why Drunk People Love To Pet Wild Possums

That title seemed a bit more catchy, because really, why are so many drunk people found on the internet petting wild possums? Have you ever seen inside of a possums mouth and looked at their teeth? We are talking a mouth full of sharp teeth with the potential of rabies. Now don't get me wrong, I can understand people super drunk mistaking wild possums for stray cats that have been through it, but a few of these people know they are petting possums and still continue to do so.

Take this woman in the video above for instance. Her and her friend realize it's a possum, yet she still goes for it even as the possum has it's mouth open and ready to bite. Besides, it sounds like it was a Sunday night for them. I just want to know where they went to brunch because it sounds like an awesome time.

Or how about this drunk guy who came across a possum on his way home from the bar and began to yell at the possum to "Be Nice. Let me pet you". Wild thing is that the possum listened (or was scared out of it's mind) and just stood there.

Listen people, if you're drunk and walking home, just please be careful and at least pet squirrels. They seem much more chill and can become best friends and bring you food.
