Dr. Rodrigo Lago

Rodrigo M. Lago, MD, FACC,is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology whose primary interests include the management of patients with advanced coronary and structural heart disease. Dr. do Lago completed his cardiology training at Cleveland Clinic in Florida and at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has also been involved as the main investigator or co-investigator in several landmark, large-scale clinical trials that changed the way that coronary artery disease and structural heart disease are currently treated. Dr. do Lago is widely published and has authored and coauthored numerous original scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters. He has a strong commitment to effective health care delivery and successful individual patient care.
