These days a wedding can easily top $20,000. And that's starting small. Some weddings go way beyond that! And at the end of the day you are still simply signing a piece of paper. This couple wanted to do more than just throw a huge wedding and spend all that money. They wanted their money to make a difference.
In this case, Poonam Kaushal and Nishkaam Mehta want to feed a million children. And they just might do it!
#MillionMealsForLove
Through World Food Programe (WFP.org) they are raising money to do just that! In fact, at school meals costing just 50 cents each, they are hoping to pay for a million meals in Cameroon. The school children in this area are directly affected by the violence of Boko Haram.
