Airboating along Florida's natural waterways is one of our favorite things to do.

We've missed it recently, as COVID-19 has kept us more inside than out.

This weekend, however, we gathered a few friends, our Labradoodle Lewis, and a couple of boats and headed out on Lake George.

Lake George is located in Volusia and Putnam Counties and flows into the St. John's River.

It's also home to Silver Glen Springs,a popular spot for boaters.

We chose to head out early before the Glen's famous crowds arrived.

One of the best things about airboating in Florida is your access to all that is nature.

The birds, the fish and yes, the alligators!
