"We Can't Forget" An Orlando Woman's Pleas To "Keep Donations Coming"

On September 1, 2019, Dorian, a category 5 hurricane stalled over the Bahamas for a couple days, completely devastating some islands in Abaco and leaving others hanging on by a thread.

Whitney Melton Laney, the founder if this Go Fund Me began working with Air Unlimited, Regal Marine, Florida Paints, HeadKnowles (largest non-profit in the Bahamas), Samaritans Purse, Medic Corp, the Dutch Navy and many other NGO's to run logistics and get the initial aid into the country. With in a few days, she was on the ground working with the survivors to help establish needs and cultivate supplies chains to get food, water and survival supplies directly into the hands of the people. She also worked to rescue people in dire need of evacuating the devastated islands.
