The idea of love at first sight might be romantic.  But sadly, first dates are usually more about weeding out the people who don't deserve a second date... And I say it all the time... I am more than glad I am not having to swim in the dating pool right now... I would drown...

According to a dating blog, there are things you need to look out for on a first date... If you see these... it's time to head for the door.

Red Flags... RUN!

In no particular order... Here are a few big ones...

They talk bad about an EX - That's just not a good look... be vaguely nice if the subject comes up... and I would pay attention to how much they talk about the EX... good or bad.

They are rude to the wait-staff - That seems like common sense... do you really want someone that is rude to random stranger that is there to serve you?

They drink too much - Honestly, I am on the fence on this one... I mean if you like to drink and they like to drink... why not drink too much together?! But I can see how it could raise some red flags.

They admit they've "ghosted" on people before - If they just disappear and stop talking to someone else, why would they not do that to you? I mean... full disclosure... I have ghosted someone before... But my wife didn't ask while we were dating and id she did... and I told the truth... I would expect that to be a red flag!
