(Paris) -- French President Emmanuel Macron says attorneys for his wife will present scientific and photographic evidence that Mrs. Macron is a woman.
A lawyer for the Macrons says the ironclad evidence will be admitted as evidence in a U.S. court in Delaware as part of a defamation suit against conservative influencer Candace Owens.
The right-wing podcaster has been claiming that Brigitte Macron was born male and is transgender.
The Macrons’ attorney, Tom Clare, told the BBC’s “Fame Under Fire” podcast “expert testimony will come out that will be scientific in nature.” He adds, "The evidence will include pictures of Brigitte, now 72, when she was pregnant with their kids." According to Clare, the Macrons are ready to demonstrate “both generically and specifically” that the transgender allegations against Brigitte are false.
Last year, Owens said she would stake her "entire professional reputation" on her claims.
In July, the Macrons filed a lawsuit against Owens alleging she "disregarded all credible evidence disproving her claim in favor of platforming known conspiracy theorists."
