Friendsgiving actually started as a bit on the popular 90's TV sitcom, Friends.
The idea is to get together with your friends a week or so before Thanksgiving to celebrate the holiday before you actually sit down with your family.
As "friends" Leslye thought it would be a great idea for Chad to host Friendsgiving at his new house.
