PICS:A Look Back At How Magic107.7 Became Florida's #1 Xmas Music Station

When I came to Magic 107.7 in 2001, we were already playing Christmas music, but so was every other radio station in town.

Magic though did it differently than the other media outlets.

We embrace holiday music with our entire heart and soul and every year you reciprocate by inviting us into your homes.

We wanted to share a little about how it all got started and how Magic 107.7 has risen to be not only Florida's #1 Christmas music station, but also one of the top rated holiday music stations in the nation.

Leslye Gale

This is one of our original Magic 1077 Christmas music logos that debuted in the early 2000's.

In 2013 Leslye Gale was joined in the studio with a then relatively new Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, who helped flip the switch to continuous Christmas music.

In 2014 Leslye Gale made a few "Santa Stops" with the big guy himself.

Also in 2014, Leslye Gale and John Forsythe helped the city of Altamonte "Light Up The Holidays'.

In 2015, we started Christmas music even earlier after huge audience demand.

In 2016, we experienced some of the coldest Christmas temperatures while John & Leslye hosted the morning show from Sea World.

In 2017, John & Leslye were so excited to stand next to the hottest snowman in town, Olaf from Frozen!

Also in 2017 Promotion's manager, Glory Adona, joined John & Leslye and Mickey & Minnie to usher in the holiday season.

And then in 2017, Chad Pitt joined Leslye Gale on the Magic 107.7 Morning Show. Let the good times roll!

Every year Chad & Leslye join their TV partners at WESH-TV and in 2019, the whole team got in on the action.

A few years ago, Chad & Leslye added Advent Health's Day of Giving to their holiday traditions and it's quickly become a favorite.

In 2020, our traditions changed a bit, but Magic kept up the Christmas music and the fun!

Traditions like Ice at the Gaylord Palms and Disney did change a bit last year, but we're back in full force this year!

Christmas music starts on Magic 107.7 November 5th, 2021!!
