The 10 Best Christmas Movies Ever, According To Rotten Tomatoes Score

While everybody's favorite Christmas movie is totally subject, review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes aimed to find the 50 highest rated Christmas movies of all time based on critic reviews. Here's how they came up with their list:

"Every movie on the list is Fresh and plays around with the spirit of Christmas and the holidays as a central theme. Then, the editorial team sorted them all by Adjusted Tomatometer, which factors in release year and a movie’s number of reviews, to make the ultimate list of holiday films that melted even the most cynical critics’ hearts."

You can check out the full list on Rotten Tomatoes, but here are the top 10 Christmas movies of all time based on the "Adjusted Tomatometer" score:

10) Remember the Night

9) Carol

8) How the Grinch Stole Christmas

7) The Nightmare Before Christmas

6) Babes in Toyland

5) Holiday Inn

4) The Shop Around the Corner

3) Miracle on 34th Street

2) Meet Me in St. Louis

1) It's a Wonderful Life

Other popular Christmas movies made the list, as well, though they didn't make the cut for the top 10. Die Hard came in as the 11th best Christmas movie of all time, while Elf ranked as the 26th best Christmas movie. Frosty the Snowman came in at number 40, Home Alone followed up at number 48.

What do you think: did Rotten Tomatoes get it right?
