BTS is performing on Good Morning America! The morning show revealed the news on their social media this morning (September 19).
Save the date: the K-Pop sensations will perform live in Times Square next Wednesday (September 26).
To kick off the countdown to the group's big showcase, GMA has also requested fans — a.k.a. "the Army" — to participate in their #GMAIdolChallenge, an open call for people to submit videos showing off their best dance moves to BTS' smash megahit "Idol" for a shot at having it featured on the show. (Learn more about the "Idol" challenge here.)

While the performance will mark BTS' first-ever on GMA, the morning program has shown the band some love in the past. Back in May, the boys received a shoutout on the show after breaking it big with their album Love Yourself: Tear, which became the first record by a K-Pop act to top the U.S. Billboard charts.
The superstars doubled down on their history-making success with their follow-up, Love Yourself: Answer, which dropped August 24 via Bit Hit Entertainment. The LP achieved similar feats as it became BTS' second full-length to reach No. 1 status on the Billboard 200. To this day, they are the only K-Pop artists to hold this accomplishment… let alone, repeat it.
The "MIC Drop" musicians will also make history again as the first Korean performers to headline a stadium show in the States with their upcoming Stadium Concert this October.
