This Promo From Broadway's Adaptation Of 'Mean Girls' Is A Must-See

Just as promised, the Broadway adaptation of Tina Fey’s teen classic, Mean Girls, is coming your way and the first promo from the forthcoming musical has surfaced.

In the clip, which was shared on Monday (September 11), we see Regina (Taylor Louderman), Karen (Kate Rockwell) and Gretchen Wieners (Ashley Park) all in matching pink dresses as they invite viewers into their Plastic circle. It's a brief glimpse of the forthcoming magic between the trio and ends on a high, or shall we say dumb note. "It's a musical. People talk and sing and move their bodies all at the same time," Karen explains of their show, before Gretchen delivers the comedic one-liner. "How can you talk and sing at the same time?"

Broadway's adaptation of Mean Girls has a star-studded team behind it, including Tony-winning director Casey Nicholaw (Aladdin, and The Book of Mormon to Spamalot, and Something Rotten!), the show's book writer Tina Fey, Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Legally Blonde’s Nell Benjamin.

It's expected to makes its run in Washington D.C. on October 31 and head onto Broadway in March 2018. Take a look at the promo below!
