Mind racing at night? Here's a trick to fall asleep.

We've all been there.... laying in bed, lights out, and your mind is racing. But here are a few tricks from SELF MAGAZINE that may be able to help you.

  1. Have a night time routine.
  2. Set the tone. Dark, cool space... and no electronics.
  3. Write it down. If something is on your mind, write it down so you can put your mind to rest.
  4. Use the 4-7-8 method to calm your breathing. Breath in for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds.
